Allies in the Faith Community


The faith community is demonstrating an unprecedented level of coordination in organizing to support passage of health care reform legislation in 2009.  PICO is working closely with other national faith groups, including:

  • Sojourners
  • Faith in Public Life
  • Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good
  • U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB)
  • Evangelical Lutheran Church of America (ELCA)
  • Episcopal Church
  • Religious Action Center of the Union for Reform Judaiasm
  • Catholic Health Association

Alonng with other national religious denominations, we are working to ensure that people of faith play a powerful role in one of the most important social issues of our time.
