Take the following steps to organize your congregation to help build the case for affordable health care reform in 2009:
1. Order or Download Congregational Guides to Health Care Reform
PICO and Sojourners and the Religious Action Center for Reform Judaism have teamed up to produce guides for clergy and congregation members on health care reform and how to participate in way consistent with our values.

2. Organize a Health Care Sabbath/Sunday at your Congregation
Congregations across the country have been dedicating one weekend this year to pray and teach about health care and its impact on families, create an opportunity for people to share their health care stories, and provide concrete steps that people can take to make their voices heard in the national health care reform debate.
Ask your clergy member or worship committee to commit to holding a Health Care Sabbath/Sunday.
